The folks in the subreddit encourage hobby artists to fulfill "Looking For Artist" posts for their D&D/role-play characters. I'm not terribly interested in that kind of stuff but they are doing a kind of Art War event that I find kind of fun. Boiled down its just a weekly theme with a bunch of artists participating but its nice to have an audience of gamer's behind what is usually just a crowd of artists.
Anyway, the first submission I made as for "By Land". The thought was to draw a character that wasn't herself a warrior but a craftsmen working in the war-effort by sculpting animated statues to fight on her side's behalf.
