Phoenix Down Post: Battle Sculptress

I'm participating in an event being run by https://www.reddit.com/r/characterdrawing/

The folks in the subreddit encourage hobby artists to fulfill "Looking For Artist" posts for their D&D/role-play characters. I'm not terribly interested in that kind of stuff but they are doing a kind of Art War event that I find kind of fun. Boiled down its just a weekly theme with a bunch of artists participating but its nice to have an audience of gamer's behind what is usually just a crowd of artists.

Anyway, the first submission I made as for "By Land". The thought was to draw a character that wasn't herself a warrior but a craftsmen working in the war-effort by sculpting animated statues to fight on her side's behalf.

Friend's birthday is coming up next month so I'm illustrating and designing a Magic the Gathering card for him. I need to figure out a good photoshop action to adjust for print-darkening, any ideas?

After coming off of a game design contract I decided I needed to warm my way back into concept art/illustration so I started doing some fun one-offs of friends as "characters." I really should do a third but two will have to do. One described himself as a kind of air-mage and the other some sort of gunner with a pet.

hi all, haven't posted in a long while so i thought i'd play a little catch-up!

Almost done with this one! Most of the fine tuning is done. now All I needs a few minor tweaks and then it's off to add some GLORIOUS COLOR!

Though admittedly, I still have no clue what to do with her right hand. Suggestions?
